The University offers a four-year B.Tech. programme across four engineering disciplines: Computer Science & Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology.
The curriculum integrates strong theoretical foundations with industry-aligned specialisation tracks introduced from the third year. Computer Science & Engineering alone offers six specialisations — Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things and Full Stack Development — while Agriculture Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology each offer four specialisations addressing contemporary challenges in their respective domains. In total, the B.Tech. portfolio comprises 18 distinct specialisation pathways across 360 AICTE-approved seats.
Programmes are designed in collaboration with industry experts and supported by functional industrial MOUs, an AICTE-funded Idea Lab, an MSME Technology Business Incubator (ASPIRE), and a patent portfolio recognised among India’s Top 5 by the Government of India’s CGPDTM.

The Shobhit University National Entrance & Scholarship Test (SUNET) is the unified entrance pathway for admissions to SIET for the academic session 2026–27. It is conducted online in computer-based mode. Paper 1 (B.Tech.) covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Reasoning for the PCM stream, or Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Reasoning for the PCB stream. Each correct answer carries 3 marks and there is no negative marking.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised Board with a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM or PCB (for selected branches).
No. Candidates with valid scores in JEE-Main or CUET (UG) are exempt from appearing in SUNET and may be considered directly on merit.
The non-refundable registration fee is ₹1,100, payable online at the time of application.
The annual tuition fee for B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering (base programme) is ₹1,50,000. CSE specialisations in AI & ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, IoT, Cloud Computing and Full Stack Development carry a fee of ₹1,80,000 per annum. B.Tech. in Agriculture Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology is ₹1,10,000 per annum. An Academic Security Deposit of ₹10,000 is payable once at the time of admission and is refundable. Hostel and mess charges are ₹90,000 per annum for those who opt for hostel accommodation.
No. Hostel is optional. Candidates who wish to reside on campus may opt for hostel accommodation at ₹90,000 per annum.
Yes. SIET offers SUNET Score Based Scholarships linked to performance in SUNET: 50% tuition fee waiver for scores of 95% and above, 30% for 85–94%, and 15% for 75–84%. Additional scholarship categories include Rural Scholars Scholarship (for candidates from families with annual income below ₹3,00,000), Divyang Scholarship (for persons with disability), Agri-Legacy Scholarship (for candidates from agricultural families), Viksit Bharat Young Innovators Scholarship (for national-level competition achievers), and Sibling Scholarship (for candidates with a sibling already enrolled). Students are eligible for only one scholarship at a time, applicable on first-year tuition fee only, and continuation is subject to minimum 75% attendance and 7.5 CGPA without any backlog.

Yes. B.Tech. Lateral Entry (direct admission to the second year) is available for candidates who have completed a three-year diploma in engineering from a recognised polytechnic or a B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as a subject.
SIET is located at NH-58, Modipuram, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh — approximately 70 km from Delhi. he Modipuram RRTS Station on the Delhi–Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System is situated approximately 200 metres from the campus, placing the University within one hour of Delhi by high-speed transit. The campus is also accessible by road from Delhi via NH-58 and by rail through Meerut City and Meerut Cantt railway stations.
